The following is quoted from the Coopersburg Moravian Church Record, Page 11:

Bassler, Alvesta Rebecca, born Dec. 25, 1904 at Coopersburg, Pa., Daughter of Allen Bassler and Mary Elizabeth (m.n. Steininger), his wife, both of whom are members of the Coopersburg Moravian Church, was baptized, on Wednesday evening, at 6P.M. at the home of the parents on Fairview Street, Coopersburg (the parents acting as sponser) by me Apr. 12, 1905. s/D. Hayes Keech, Pastor.

COMMENTARY:
- Alvesta Rebecca NEVER used her given first name, being known through her life by her middle name: Rebecca
- There is a serious question about Alma's relationship to the Giering Family line. Alma was born with the surname SEIP. Information concerning Alma's line has been removed (by request - see source above) pending receipt of information from other sources.
