OCCUPATION:Various during Depression. Opened and operated Giering's Restaurant, 313 Main Street, Emmaus. 1940 thriugh 1948.

-- Harold and Ruth lived at 537 Gordon Street, Allentown (1922-23 - possible)
-- Harold, together with his Father, Edgar, built his home at 401 N 4th Street, Emmaus in 1928. He and Marguerite lived there until the mid 1930's when they (with their family) moved to south Elm Street.
-- In 1940, they opened Giering's Restaurant, 313 Main Street also in Emmaus. They lived in an apartment on the second floor of the building.
