Benjamin L. Rabenold

Benjamin L. Rabenold, 72, of 830 E. Main St., Macungie, died Tuesday in Allentown Osteopathic Hospital.

He was employed in the Mack Trucks, Inc., experimental department for 32 years until retiring in 1962. After that, he became a farmer in the Hosensack area.

He was the husband of Esther (Stahle) Rabenold.

Born in Longswamp, Berks County, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Alavesta (Walbert) Rabenold.

Surviving besides his widow are a son William of Coopersburg R. 3; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Selika of Syracuse, N.Y. and Mrs. Carrie Engler and Lillian, wife of George Laubach, both of Allentown, and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will start at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Esther F. Rabenold, 90, formerly of Main Street, Macungie died Thursday, feb 27 in Lehigh Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the wife of the late Benjamin L. Rabenold.

Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Giering) Stahle.

She was a member of the Emmaus Moravian Church.

Survivors: Son, William S. of Coopersburg; two grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Services:11 A.M. Monday, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St. Emmaus. Call 10:30-11A.M. Monday.
