MILITARY INFORMATION:Linny was inducted into the Army on 26 November 1941 and discharged on 30 September 1945. He served for three years overseas in Battery B -213th Coast Artillery, participating in the African Campaign, the Italian Campaign, also in Marseilles, France.

Betty C. Schultz Betty C. Schultz, 88, formerly of Emmaus, died April 14, 2010 in the Devon House. She was the widow of the late Linwood A. Schultz. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Catherine (Stahle) Moyer. She was a receptionist for Drs. Clifford, Eastland and Dry for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church where she was a charter member of Kings Daughters and was a member of the Silver Cross Circle. Survivors: Daughters, Barbara J. wife of Jack McGuire of Reading and Debbie L. Eckert of Palm Harbor, FL; Sister, Gloria Fellman of Emmaus; three Grandchildren; and one Great-Grandson. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
