OBITUARIES:
Nancy J. Hendricks, 59 of 935 Crest Way, Emmaus, died Friday in Allentown Hospital.
She was a volunteer at Allentown Hospital for several years.
Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Edgar F. and Catherine S. (Stahle) Moyer.
She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church.
Survivors: Daughters, Kathy, wife of Timothy Haas of New Britain, Bucks County, and Linda, wife of Keith Zimpfer of Bally; sisters, Betty, wife of Linwood Schultz, and Gloria, wife of Russell Fellman, both of Emmaus, and five grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Call 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Arrangements, Kulik-Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
Dale S. Hendricks, 78, of Emmaus, died Thursday in Phoebe-Allentown. He was the husband of Shirley J. (Hawbaker) for the past 26 years and the late Nancy (Moyer) Hendricks. He owned and operated Dale Enterprises, Emmaus, a stamp collection and trading business for over 35 years. He was an insurance agent as well. Previously, he was a plant supervisor for Mack Truck, Allentown for 15 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Jacob E. and Mabel M. (Somers) Hendricks. He was a member of the Emmaus Moravian Church, the Saucon Lodge F. & A.M., Rajah Temple, and the American Philatelic Society. He was a past president of the Emmaus Jaycees, a former Director of the American Stamp Dealers Assoc. He played trumpet with the Marine Band of Allentown. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Survivors: Surviving with his wife; daughters, Kathy Haas, Doylestown and Linda Zimpfer, husband Keith, Bally; grandchildren Jennifer and Kelsey Haas, Katie Finan, husband Joseph, Jason Zimpfer, wife Kelly, Carolyn and Caleb Zimpfer; great-grandson, Caiden Zimpfer. Services: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown. Interment Quakertown Union Cemetery. Call at the funeral home Monday 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
