-- At the time of her first marriage, Bertha was living at 1702 Main St. in Bethlehem and was employed as a telephone operator. Celious was living in Bath, PA and was employed as a laborer. (Northampton County marriage book #41, pg. 523, license #45570)
-- Bertha divorced her first husband, Celious Mitman, and remarried Ralph Cope. In 1941 she was living in Bethlehem. She later lived at 3120 Washington St. in Bethlehem Twp. She had no children by either husband. She was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
-- Celious was a tape slitter for St. Regis Paper Co., Nazareth. He was a figure caller for country square dances. Celious died in Easton Hospital and was buried in Hope Cemetery at Dryland Church. (Obit in "The Express", Easton, PA, Friday, 9 June 1978, pg. 10)
