COMMENTARY:
-- In 1941 Verna was living in Bethlehem, PA. Verna is buried next to her husband, Walter I. Weaver, in St. John's Church cemetery at Farmersville.
-- Walter was a carpenter for Howard Schwartz Contracting, Bethlehem, for 45 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. John's UCC, Farmersville, where he sang in the choir. He lived at 231 E. Garrison St., Bethlehem.
-- Walter died in St. Luke's Hospital and was buried in St. John's Church cemetery. (Obit in "The Morning Call", Allentown, PA, Saturday, 28 May 1988, pg. B30)
-- Walter left a will, written 25 October 1960, in which he bequeathed any residue in his estate to sons, Gilbert E. and Richard E. Weaver, and appointed them the executors. He also appointed First National Bank the guardian of any minor beneficiaries. (Estate file #1988-736, will roll 10, pg. 1909, Northampton County courthouse, Easton, PA)
